We bought this amazing table lamp today and are CRAZY over it. Especially the reasonable price of $120! It looks great in our living room on top of our Kent Coffey Perspecta Credenza, we moved the arc lamp we previously had next to the couch to our Arizona room because we just got a Danish Modern Daybed for $280! We plan to have it reupholstered but luckily it's just three cushions so should be pretty easy. I love being able to furnish our home with authentic Mid Century Modern pieces for a reasonable price. We have definitely had to wait for the right things to come along but are very proud of the collection we now have!
Hi, I was wondering if you had any more info on the lamp you have pictured here. I just purchased one that looks exactly the same. Sadly, two of the orbs broke and I'm looking for replacements. Any ideas on maker or any ideas on new orbs?
ReplyDeleteHi Aaron! You are living my worst nightmare! We have had two "near misses" when throwing balls for one of our dogs in the house and every time my blood pressure shoots right up! I love this lamp so very much but, as with any lamp of this age, the idea of losing a globe terrifies me! That being said, if your lamp is indeed the exact size as mine, I believe that these globes might work: http://www.mylampparts.com/Products/6-Hand-Blown-Opal-Neckless-Globe__SL41572.aspx. I measured the globe of ours and it is about 6 inch diameter and I found the base to be about 3.5 inches. If you do order these could you let me know if they fit in case ours break? If they do I might order some to have "just in case" :) Hope that helps!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I found the lamp in this consignment store, I asked the guy if all the electrical worked, and while we were taking the orbs off to test the bubls, two of them shattered in our hands. Super bummed, but he sold it to me for 50% off, so I'm not really complaining.
Any idea who made this lamp?
